Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (from July 16 to July 23, 2026)

According to the data of the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control, and Environmental Monitoring, during the period from July 16 to July 23, 2026, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk are 0.10 μSv/h, in Gomel are 0.11 μSv/h, in Mogilev are 0.12 μSv/h, which correspond to the natural background radiation values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the towns of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.48 μSv/h and 0.18 μSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the established long-term average values and are caused by the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
