Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (from August 6 to August 13, 2026)

According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control, and Environmental Monitoring, during the period from August 6 to August 13, 2026, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk are 0.10 µSv/h, in Gomel are 0.11 µSv/h, in Mogilev are 0.12 µSv/h, which correspond to natural background radiation values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the cities of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.48 µSv/h and 0.18 µSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the established long-term average values and are attributable to the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
