Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (from August 13 to August 20, 2026)

According to the Republican Centre for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring, during the period from 13 to 20 August 2026, the radiation situation in the Republic remains stable.
The gamma-radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno and Minsk are 0.10 μSv/h, in Gomel and Mogilev are 0.11 μSv/h, which corresponds to the natural radiation background values.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma-radiation dose rate levels are 0.48 μSv/h and 0.18 μSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the established long-term values and are attributed to the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
