According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable and unchanged from 5 to 12 February 2026.
The dose rate levels of gamma radiation in Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno and Gomel are 0.10 µSv/h, in Mogilev are 0.11 µSv/h which correspond to the established long-term values.
Higher levels of gamma radiation dose rates are maintained at permanent control points located in areas of increased radioactive contamination: in Bragin are 0.32 µSv/h, in Slavgorod are 0.18 µSv/h.
