The state institution «Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring» informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from October 9 to October 15, 2025.
On October 9, 2025, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 10 microns in size (hereinafter referred to as PM10), in the air of Vitebsk in the area of Chkalov Street near house 14 was 1.32 MPC (calm, north–easterly, north-northeasterly wind with a speed of 1-3 m/s was observed, the air temperature ranged from +5.2°C to +13.2°C, relative humidity – from 88% to 98%).
In the air of Glubokoe in the area of Lake Beglets (KTPB-513, line 6. Support 3) on October 9, 2025, the average daily concentration of PM10 was 1.64 MPC (calm, northeast, north-northeast wind with a speed of 1-3 m/s was observed, the air temperature ranged from +5.2°C up to +13.2°C, relative humidity – from 88% to 98%), October 10, 2025 – 1.24 MPC (calm, westerly, west-southwesterly, southwesterly wind with a speed of 1-6 m/s, haze, air temperature ranged from +8.0 °C to +14.1°C, relative humidity – from 63% to 98%).
On October 9, 2025, the average daily concentration of PM10 in the air of Smorgon in the area of V.Sinkevich St., 119, was 1.57 MPC (calm was observed, winds of variable directions with an average speed of 1 m/s, air temperature ranged from +4.6°C to +14.2°C, relative humidity – from 66% to 84%).
On October 9, 2025, at 09:00, the concentration of nitrogen oxide in the air of Grodno in the area of Obukhov Street, 15, was 1.36 MPC (calm was observed, the air temperature was +5.9°C).
