Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from October 2 to October 8, 2025)

The state institution «Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring» informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from October 2 to October 8, 2025. 

In the air of Zhlobin in the area of Prigorodnaya St., 12 on October 4, 2025, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 microns in size, was 1.25 MPC (winds of variable directions with a speed of 2 m/s, gusts up to 8 m/s, air temperature ranged from +6.2°C to +17.5°C, relative humidity – from 35% to 92%).

In the air of Mogilev, in the area of house №10 on Pervomaiskaya St. on October 4, 2025, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.2 MPC (east, east-southeast, southeast wind was observed at a speed of 1-3 m/s, air temperature ranged from +5.9°C to +17.6°C, relative humidity - from 35% to 87%).

In the air of Vitebsk in the area of Chkalov St. at house 14 on October 7, 2025, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 10 microns in size (hereinafter referred to as PM10), was 1.83 MPC (calm, northwest, northeast, north wind at a speed of 1-3 m/s, air temperature ranged from +2.9°C to +13.8°C, relative humidity - from 64% to 98%). 

In the air of Minsk in the area of Timiryazeva St., 23 on October 7, 2025, at 09:20 a.m., the concentration of nitrogen oxide was 1.07 MPC (calm was observed, the air temperature was +5.8°C, relative humidity – 99%). In the area of Radialnaya St., 50 on October 8, 2025 at 08:40 a.m., the concentration of nitrogen oxide was 1.34 MPC (calm was observed, the air temperature was +4.2°C, relative humidity – 99%).

In the air of Smorgon in the area of Koreni St., 48A on October 8, 2025, the average daily concentration of PM10 was 1.52 MPC (winds of variable directions with a speed of 1-2 m/s were observed, the air temperature ranged from +1.2°C to +14.9°C, relative humidity – from 53% to 96%). In the area of 119 V.Sinkevich St. on October 8, 2025, the average daily concentration of PM10 was 2.16 MPC (wind of variable directions with a speed of 1-2 m/s was observed, air temperature ranged from +1.4°C to +15.3°C, relative humidity – from 53% to 91%).

When using the information a reference to Belhydromet is obligatory
