On April 28, a large-scale youth bike race dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day took place in the capital.
The event, organized by the Minsk City Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, gathered more than 100 young people who rode along the city's central avenues, proudly displaying the symbols of their country.
The participants started from the National Library of Belarus and finished the route at the "Minsk – Hero City" stele. Among the participants was Artemy Grigoriev, an engineer from the Environmental Information Service of Belhydromet, who supported the youth initiative.

As part of the bike race, a traditional solemn flower-laying ceremony was held at the "Minsk – Hero City" monument.

This symbolic act underscored the importance of preserving the memory of the ancestors' feat, their heroism, and boundless love for the Motherland. The event organizers expressed confidence that such actions help pass this memory down from generation to generation.
The youth bike race served as a vivid confirmation of the younger generation's desire to honor their country's history and preserve the eternal memory of those who, at the cost of their own lives, defended a peaceful sky above.
