On June 20th, a memorial rally titled «We are Entrusted to Safeguard This World!» took place at the memorial complex «Battle Path of Guardsmen» located on Geroev 120 divisii St. in Pervomaisky District. The event was dedicated to the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of the Great Patriotic War and Genocide against Belarusian People. It served as a symbol of intergenerational unity in mourning and remembrance of those tragic events.
The rally brought together representatives of various professions, young people and the older generation – all those who consider it their duty to honor the memory of the heroism and tragedy that unfolded on Belarusian soil during the war.
The Belhydromet delegation, which included First Deputy Head Svetlana Kuzmich and representatives of trade union activists, took part in the funeral event. The staff of our organization paid tribute to the veterans and all those who, at the cost of their lives, brought the long-awaited Victory Day closer.
After a minute of silence, which froze in the hearts of everyone present, the participants of the rally laid flowers at the memorial. Scarlet carnations and other flowers have become a symbol of gratitude and eternal memory of the war heroes who gave their lives for the peaceful skies over Belarus.
