On May 9, the day when the entire country bows its head before the feat of the victorious generation, Victory Square in Minsk became a place where thousands of people came together to pay tribute to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The solemn ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers at the majestic monument gathered representatives of government bodies, heads of capital organizations and enterprises, activists of public associations and political parties, as well as many caring citizens.
Among those who came to honor the memory of those who, at the cost of their own lives, brought the Great Victory closer, were employees of Belhydromet. Led by Head Siarhei Khilman, the agency's staff joined thousands of Minsk residents and city guests to express their deep gratitude and respect.
"Victory Day is not just a tradition. It is our sacred duty and sincere desire to honor the memory of the heroes, thanks to whom we live today under a peaceful sky," emphasized Belhydromet employees. "We are here to show that we remember and are proud of the feat of our ancestors, and we are ready to pass this memory on."
Events like this on this sacred day remind us of the unbreakable bond between generations.
Victory Day is a holiday that unites everyone – whether front-line soldiers, their children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren. In every family on this day, memory is honored in a special way: they bring out their heroes' medals, recall their feats, and pass on the story of resilience and courage further, preserving the connection between times and paying respect to all those who have become part of our shared great history.

Happy Great Victory Day!
