On May 11, 2026, a quiz titled "Symbols of Independence" took place at Belhydromet.
The event, organized by the ideological work department, was dedicated to the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Belarus and brought together employees of our organization who are interested in deepening their knowledge of national history and the attributes of sovereignty.
The quiz presented participants with a series of questions covering a range of topics related to the flag, emblem, and anthem of Belarusian statehood. Each question required attentiveness, erudition, and an understanding of historical context.
Following the results of the quiz, the winners were announced: first place was shared by Ekaterina Istomina, Head of the Hydrometeorology and Agrometeorology Service, and Elena Kvach, Head of the Water Regime Study Department. Their deep knowledge and confident answers received special recognition.
The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, fostering not only a test of knowledge but also the strengthening of corporate spirit. "Symbols of Independence" became a vivid example of how important it is to remember and value the history of one's country, its achievements, and state attributes. Belhydromet once again demonstrated its commitment to the civic and patriotic education of its employees.
