Today, September 16, on the eve of National Unity Day, a significant date for the entire country, employees of Belhydromet, at the initiative of the primary organization of the RPO "Belaya Rus" of Belhydromet, together with colleagues from the Republican Unitary Enterprise "Research and Production Center for Geology," took part in a symbolic bicycle ride. The event also became part of the international Mobility Week taking place in Minsk from September 16 to 22, emphasizing the aspiration for an environmentally friendly and active lifestyle.
The bicycle ride started at a landmark location – the Tree of Victory in the Vostok microdistrict.
Further, the route passed by the majestic Church of the Resurrection of Christ. This choice of route was no accident: it symbolizes the unbreakable connection between generations, the continuity of moral ideals and the deep unity of society, whose strength rests on firm spiritual and moral guidelines. On this occasion, Father Andrey Kashpor, a cleric of the church parish, blessed this important event and all its participants, wishing them a safe journey and success.
The final point of the route was the Center of the Diving and Rescue Service of the Republican Special Purpose Detachment "ZUBR" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus. Here, an engaging introductory excursion was organized for the cyclists by Andrey Minchukov, Deputy Head of the Center, allowing them to become better acquainted with the heroic and responsible work of the center, its tasks and daily activities.
The bicycle ride became not just a sports event, but a true occasion that united the professional community around values important to society — cohesion, respect for history and care for the environment. Participants noted that such events help them look at their native city in a new way, feel its rhythm and sense their personal involvement in a large common cause.
