Overview of hydrological situation of September 25, 2023

As of September 25, the increase in water levels with intensity 1-12 cm per day is observed on the Western Dvina near the urban settlement Surazh and Verkhnedvinsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Vilia on the site of Mikhalishki – Malye Sviryanki, the Berezina on the site of Borisov – the Berezino, the Sozh on the site Krichev – Slavgorod, some of their tributaries, the Pripyat near Pinsk (Lubansky Bridge) and most of its tributaries. For the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as on the Dnieper, there is a decline in water levels and their smooth course.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport remain on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature ranges in rivers from 11°C to 19°C, in reservoirs from 16°C to 18°C.
In the coming days fluctuations in water levels with a tendency to decrease will be observed on the rivers of the country.
