During the past period (October 25-30), an increase in water levels was noted on most rivers due to precipitation, as a result of which conditions for river transport improved on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk.
As of October 31, almost everywhere in the country's rivers there is an increase in water levels with an intensity of up to 20 cm per day.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa, Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk, Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature ranges from 5.7°C to 9,9°C in rivers and from 6.3°C to 8.0°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the rivers will experience fluctuations in water levels with a tendency to increase. On the Dnieper River near Rechitsa, Loev, and the Sozh river near Svetlogorsk, water levels will exceed the marks limiting navigation.
