In the past period (November 1-4), precipitation caused an increase in water levels on most of the country's rivers. Conditions for river transport have improved on the Dnieper River near Rechitsa, Loev and the Berezina near Svetlogorsk.
As of November 5, an increase in water levels with an intensity of 1-18 cm per day is observed on the rivers, only a slight decrease in water levels is noted on some tributaries of the Neman, the Western Bug, the Berezina and the Pripyat.
On the Neman River near Grodno, the Dnieper River near Mogilev, the city of Zhlobin, the Berezina River near Bobruisk, the Sozh River near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel, water levels are below the marks limiting navigation.
The water temperature ranges from 5.5°C to 9.0°C in rivers and from 6.8°C to 8.4°C in reservoirs.
By the end of this week, water levels will increase on most rivers, as a result of which conditions for river transport will improve on the Dnieper near Mogilev and the Sozh near Krichev.
