In the past period (November 11-13), conditions for river transport have improved on the Dnieper near the town of Zhlobin.
As of November 14, an increase in water levels with an intensity of 1-15 cm per day prevails on the rivers of the Dnieper, the Berezina and the Pripyat basins. On the rivers of the basins of the Western Dvina, the Neman, the Vilia and the Sozh, there is mainly a decrease in water levels and their smooth course.
On the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, the Berezina near Bobruisk, the Sozh River near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel, water levels are below the marks limiting navigation.
The water temperature has dropped slightly and ranges from 4.9°C to 7.9°C in rivers and from 5.1°C to 7.0°C in reservoirs.
In the next five days, the forecasted weather conditions will cause a decrease in water temperature in rivers and reservoirs, and primary ice formations may appear on small rivers of the country.
