Overview of hydrological situation of May 27, 2025

Currently an increase in water levels was observed on the country's rivers with an intensity of up to 58 cm per day on the rivers of the Western Dvina, the Berezina and the Pripyat basins, up to 16 cm per day on the rivers of the Neman, the Vilia, the Dnieper and the Sozh basins as a result of precipitation.

On the Neman near Grodno and the Berezina near Bobruisk water levels are below the levels limiting navigation.

The water temperature ranges from 11°C to 19°C in rivers and from 12°C to 17°C in reservoirs.

By the end of this week water levels will continue to rise on most rivers as a result of which conditions for river transport will improve on the Berezina near Bobruisk and in some sections of the rivers of the Vilia and the Berezina basins water may reach the floodplain.
