Overview of hydrological situation of May 15, 2026

During the past period (May 12–14), a rise in water levels was observed on most rivers, as a result of which conditions for river transport improved on the Sozh River near the towns of Krichev and Slavgorod.
As of May 15, a rise in water levels is observed on the Berezina River; the Western Dvina River on the stretch from Vitebsk to Ulla and near the town of Verkhnedvinsk; the Neman River on the stretch from Stolbtsy to Mosty; the Viliya River on the stretch from Sheshchitsy to Vileyka; the Dnieper River near the town of Zhlobin; the Sozh River on the stretch from Krichev to Slavgorod; as well as on most of their tributaries and on individual tributaries of the Pripyat River. On the remaining stretches of the aforementioned rivers, as well as along the entire length of the Pripyat River, a decline in water levels is observed.
Water remains in the floodplain on the Viliya River near the agricultural town of Sheshchitsy and on the Sozh River's tributary, the Iput River, near the town of Dobrush.
On the Neman River near the town of Grodno, the water level is below the mark that limits navigation.
Water temperatures range from 7.7°C to 18°C in rivers, and from 11°C to 15°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, rising water levels will prevail on the rivers, and water temperatures will increase slightly.
