Overview of hydrological situation of February 15, 2022

In the past period (February 11-14), most of the country's rivers experienced an increase in water levels, as a result of which, the water levels exceeded the water outlet marks on the floodplain on the tributary of the Western Bug, the Lesnaya River near the city of Kamenets, the Ivnya-Bond Canal near the village of Budka and the Svisloch River near the village of Terebuty (tributary of the Berezina).
As of February 15, freeze-up and freeze-up with polynyas with a thickness of 16 cm to 40 cm remains on the Dnieper, the Berezina, the Sozh, the greater extent of the Zapadnaya Dvina and the Pripyat, on most of their tributaries, some tributaries of the Western Bug, as well as in the Neman basin, shore fast ice and shuga-drift are noted. On the reservoirs Vileyskoye, Chigirinskoye, Zaslavskoye, Soligorskoye, Krasnaya Sloboda, lakes Lukomskoye, Drivyaty, Naroch, Vygonoshchanskoye and Chervonoe, there is a continuous ice cover, 16-38 cm thick.
On the rivers there are fluctuations in water levels with an intensity of 1-13 cm per day.
The water levels exceed the water outlet marks on the floodplain on the Neman near the village of Belitsa, the Dnieper near the settlement Loev and its tributary the Ivnya-Bonda canal near the village of Budka, a tributary of the Western Bug, the Lesnaya river near the city of Kamenets, a tributary of the Berezina, the Svisloch river near the village of Terebuta and on the tributaries of the Pripyat, the Sluch rivers near the village of Lenin, the Styr near the village of Lopatino, the Ptich near the village 1st Slobodka.
In the coming days, fluctuations in water levels will be noted on the rivers, on the Pripyat near the village of Chernichi the water level will exceed the level of water outlet to the floodplain.
