Daily temperature exceeded +10°С in first and second decades, it decreased up to +3 +8°С in the third decade. Warm temperature settled in the second decade: daily temperature was above +15°С and was about +20°С in certain days. Maximum value of air temperature was registered at the station Polesskaya on October, 7 and was about +23,8°С; unusual warm temperature settled in the south on October, 30, and in the west of the country on October, 31 (6-10°С above climate normal). New daily record (+20,3°С) was registered in Brest on October 30, that exceeded record of 1960 by +0,5°С. Daily records of maximum air temperature were exceeded almost at all the observation points mainly in second decade.
Night temperatures ranged from +1 to +8°С. Freezing with the intensity 0 -6°С in the air was observed in the coldest nights, on the surface – up to -7°С. Minimum air temperature was registered on October, 22 at the station Polesskaya and was about -6, 0°С.
40 mm of precipitation fell out on average around the country in October that is 78% of climate normal. Precipitations were irregular during the month. 26 mm of precipitation or 52% of climate normal fell out in Gomel region that is the smallest value.
