The end of the growing season this year occurred two to three weeks later than usual, which allowed winter crops to receive some additional development. At the same time, tillering of winter grain crops (the optimal phase for overwintering) was noted on slightly smaller areas than last year. Grain blossomed in the areas sown before September 20-25, in places in the south – until the end of September. Due to the lowering of the temperature regime, the plants are quenched. According to the latest data, there is a slight freezing of the upper soil layer in most of the republic, and a small snow cover has formed.
In the near future, winter crops will be overwintered in unstable weather conditions.
