According to the latest observational data, spring grain crops sown in March – the first half of April are tillering; on some observed fields, stem elongation has begun. On later April sowings, the third leaf stage and the formation of nodal roots are observed. For spring grains sown in late April, and in some places in May, grain germination is taking place, and seedlings are appearing. Visual assessments of crop conditions are good. Soil moisture availability for spring crops is sufficient across almost the entire territory of the republic, except for certain southern districts, which, combined with moderate temperature conditions, is favorable for plant development.
In the coming days, the agrometeorological conditions over most of the country will favor further growth and development of agricultural crops.
