The agrometeorological conditions across the country have improved. Rising temperatures and reduced precipitation are favorable for grain drying and ripening of crops in fields where cereals have not yet reached full maturity. According to the latest observational data, the boundary of grain ripening to full maturity for winter cereals, spring barley, and oats is advancing toward the northeastern region of Belarus, and harvesting is underway.
In late July and the first days of August, hot weather is expected over most of the republic, with rains being short-lived, which will allow for an increase in the pace of harvesting operations.
