Overview of agrometeorological situation of July 28, 2026

On most of the observed fields, with the exception of the northeastern part of the republic, winter grain crops have reached full kernel ripeness. In many southern areas, as well as in the western and central regions, spring barley and oats have matured to full ripeness. In the remaining territory, grain crops are still ripening. According to observations from some weather stations in the Vitebsk and Minsk regions, spring wheat is still in the grain-filling stage. Mass harvesting of ripe grain crops is underway across the republic. Grain moisture content remains generally elevated. Simultaneously with the harvesting of grain ear crops, the harvesting of winter rapeseed, pulling of flax, and forage procurement from the second cutting are being carried out.
In the near future, agrometeorological conditions for the ripening of grain crops and the conduct of harvesting operations are expected to improve. Rising temperatures will promote grain drying.
