Overview of agrometeorological situation of February 3, 2026

Agrometeorological conditions for winter crops in Belarus are developing satisfactorily. Low temperatures haven't had a negative impact on overwintering crops. The separate subdivisions of Belhydromet conducted regrowth tests to assess the condition of winter grain crops, winter rapeseed, and perennial grasses. The results showed that the winter crops have normal viability. In almost all selected samples of grain crops, winter rapeseed, and perennial grasses, complete regrowth was observed, or plant thinning was insignificant.
In the near future, the snow cover will become more compact and may increase in some areas. Soil freezing will not change significantly.
