Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on January 12 - 19, 2023

According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring from January 12 to 19, 2023 the radiation situation in the republic remains unchanged.

The dose rate levels of gamma radiation in Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk and Grodno are 0.10 μSv/hour (10 μR/hour), in Gomel and Mogilev – 0.11 μSv /hour (11 μR/hour), which corresponds to the established long-term values.

Higher levels of gamma radiation dose rates are maintained at permanent control points located in areas of increased radioactive contamination: Bragin – 0.47 μSv /hour (47 μR /hour), Slavgorod – 0.18 μSv /hour (18 μR /hour).
