Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from the 18th to 24th of November, 2021)
The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Pollution and Environmental Monitoring" informs about exceeding the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of cities of the republic for the period from November 18 to November 24, 2021.
In the air of Gomel near st. Barykina, 319 on November 18 and 23, 2021, the average daily concentrations of solid particles, fractions up to 10 microns in size were 1.2 MAC (on November 18, the south wind prevailed with an average speed of 3 m/s, the air temperature varied from -3.6°C to +1.3°C, relative
humidity range from 82% to 98%; on November 23, a North-Westerly wind with an average speed of 1 m/s prevailed, haze was observed, the air temperature varied in the range from -6.2°С to -1.5°С, relative humidity range from 65% to 97%).
In the air of Zhlobin in the area of st. Prigorodnaya, 12 on November 23, 2021, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 microns in size exceeded the MAC standard by 1.3 times (the South-Western wind prevailed with an average speed of 1 m/s, the air temperature varied from -8.1°C to -1.6°C, relative humidity range from 69% to 92%).
In the air of Minsk in the area of st. Radial, 50 on November 24, 2021, at 17:40, the concentration of carbon oxide exceeded the maximum one-time MAC by 1.1 times (a South-Western wind was observed at a speed of 3 m/s, the air temperature was +2.0°С, relative humidity was 95% ).
