Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 2nd to 9th of November, 2022)

 
The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from November 2 to November 9, 2022.

In the air of Mogilev on Chelyuskintsev St., in the area of house No. 45 on November 2, 2022, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.1 times (calm prevailed, haze was observed, air temperature ranged from +2.3°C to +11.4°C, relative humidity – from 54% to 96%).

In the air of Minsk in the area of 50 Radialnaya St. on November 8, 2022, at 07:20 h. the concentration of carbon oxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.44 times, at 07:40 h. – by 3.40 times, at 08:00 h. – by 1.36 times (a southwest wind with a speed of 2 m/s was observed, the air temperature was +7.7°C, relative humidity – 92%). In the area of Korzhenevsky Street on November 8, 2022 at 21:20 h. the concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.03 times, at 21:40 h. – by 1.07 times, at 22:00 h. – by 1.05 times (there was a south wind with a speed of 2 m/s, haze, the air temperature was +9.6°C, relative humidity – 90%). In the area of Korzhenevsky Street on November 8, 2022, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.10 times (south wind prevailed at a speed of 1-3 m/s, haze and rain were observed at night, air temperature ranged from +7.4°C to +10.0°C, relative humidity – from 86 % to 96%).

In the air of Zhlobin in the area of Prigorodnaya str., 12 on November 9, 2022, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 microns in size was 1.02 MPC (south wind with an average speed of 2 m/s was observed, gusts up to 6 m/s, air temperature ranged from +4.9°C to +13.4°C, relative humidity – from 66% to 97%).
