Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 26th of January to 1st of February, 2023)

In the air of Gomel in the area of Barykina str., 319 on January 26, 2023, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 10 microns in size was 1.05 MPC (there was a south wind with an average speed of 2 m/s, gusts up to 7 m/s, snow, air temperature ranged from -4.2°C to -2.6°C, relative humidity – from 83% to 87%), January 30, 2023 – 1.25 MPC (south wind with an average speed of 4 m/s, gusts up to 12 m/s, snow, air temperature ranged from -2.5°C to -0.6°C, relative humidity – from 80% to 94%).

In the air of Mogilev in the area of house No. 10 on Pervomayskaya Street on January 25, 2023, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.15 times (there was a wind of the western quarter of 1-2 m/s, the air temperature ranged from -3.4°C to -2.5°C, relative humidity – from 80% to 84%). In the area of house No. 10 on Pervomayskaya Street on January 28, 2023 at 19:00 h. the concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.04 MPC (calm was observed, the air temperature was 0°C, relative humidity – 69%). In the specified area on January 28 , 2023 the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.5 times (there was haze, calm, a weak wind in the eastern quarter; the air temperature ranged from -3.5°C to 0°C, relative humidity – from 69% to 95%). In the area of house No. 10 on Pervomayskaya Street on January 30, 2023, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.3 times (snow, wind south-south-west-west with a speed of 3-5 m/s were observed, the air temperature ranged from -0.9°C to -0.5°C, relative humidity – from 84% to 93%), January 31, 2023 – by 1.08 times (there was haze, snow, rain, wind south-south-west, west 1-2 m/s, air temperature ranged from -0.4°C to 1.8°C, relative humidity – from 85% to 91%).
