Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 12th to 18th of January, 2023)

 
 The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedance of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from January 12 to January 18, 2023.

In the air of Gomel in the area of Barykina str.,319 on January 13, 14, 15, 2023, the average daily concentrations of solid particles, fractions up to 10 microns in size were 1.09 MPC (on January 13, a south wind with an average speed of 2 m/s, gusts up to 9 m/s, haze were observed, the air temperature ranged from -5.9°C up to -3.6°C, relative humidity – from 92% to 97%; on January 14, there was a south wind with an average speed of 3 m/s, gusts up to 9 m/s, haze, drizzle, air temperature ranged from -3.7°C to -2.0°C, relative humidity – from 88% to 99%; On January 15, there was a south wind with an average speed of 3 m/s, gusts up to 11 m/s, haze, snow, air temperature ranged from -2.6°C to -0.6°C, relative humidity – from 87% to 99%).

In the air of Mogilev, in the area of house No. 10 on Pervomaiskaya Street on January 16, 2023, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.08 times (south and south-east winds with a speed of 2-5 m/s, haze, drizzle, snow were observed, the air temperature ranged from -2°C to -1°C; relative humidity – from 87% to 98%).
