Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 10th to 16th of November, 2022)

 
The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from November 10 to November 16, 2022.

In the air of Gomel in the area of Barykina str., 319 on November 10, 2022 at 22:40 h. the maximum single concentration of carbon oxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.10 times (there was a southwest wind with a speed of 4 m/s, rain, the air temperature was +7.1°C, relative humidity - 97%). In the area of Barykina str., 319 on November 15, 2022 at 17:00 h. and at 17:20 h. carbon oxide concentrations exceeded the MPC standard by 1.39 times (a south wind with a speed of 3 m/s was observed, the air temperature was +2.5°C, relative humidity – 97%). November 15, 2022 in the specified area, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 10 microns in size slightly (1.07 times) exceeded the MPC standard (south wind prevailed with an average speed of 2 m/s, gusts up to 5 m/s, air temperature ranged from +1.2°C to +4.4°C, relative humidity – from 88% to 98%).

In the air of Minsk in the area of Korzhenevsky Street on November 11, 2022 at 15:00 h. the concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.20 times (there was a south-westerly wind with an average speed of 2 m/s, a weak haze, the air temperature was +8.5°C, relative humidity – 96%). In the area of Korzhenevsky Street on November 11, 2022 the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide slightly (1.03 times) exceeded the MPC standard (south-westerly wind with an average speed of 2 m/s prevailed, weak haze, light rain at night were observed, air temperature ranged from +7.5°C to +10.6°C, relative humidity – from 82% to 97%).
