A volunteer clean-up took place at “The complex of meteorological and upper-air observations “Minsk” in the district of military town “Uruchie” on September 8

 

The first stage of the volunteer clean-up took place at “The complex of meteorological and upper-air observations “Minsk” in the district of military town “Uruchie” on September 8, 2018. The main aim of the volunteer clean-up was to prepare the complex for putting into operation. It was decided to carry out the volunteer clean-up of the improvement of the territory in three stages.
More than 30 employees of Belhydromet took part in the volunteer clean-up under the lead of the head of Belhydromet Roman Labaznov and the head of the department for regulation of the effects on atmospheric air, climate change and expertise of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Zavyalov.
The volunteer clean-up was well-organized. Each of the participants received appropriate tools as well as personal protective equipment.
The staff of Belhydromet is always active in such events, and this volunteer clean-up wasn’t the exception. The atmosphere of friendliness and mutual assistance  was hold during the volunteer clean-up. Those people who quickly coped with the work on their site, rushed to help to the others.
The second and the third stages of the volunteer clean-up are scheduled on September 15 and 22, respectively.
