Overview of hydrological situation of July 25, 2022

In the past period (July 21-24), fluctuations in water levels with a tendency to decrease were observed on the rivers of the country, as a result of which conditions for river transport operation worsened on the Berezina near Bobruisk, and on its tributary the Beaver river near the village Kuta water entered the riverbed. 
As of July 25, the increase in water levels with daily intensity 1-9 cm is marked on the Zapadnaya Dvina on the Vitebsk – Polotsk section, the Neman at the city of Columns, Vilia at the settlement Steshitsy, the Dnieper near the town of Loev, Berezina near Borisov, Sozh near Gomel and Pripyat near Narovlya, some of their tributaries and tributaries of the Zapadny Bug. In the remaining sections of the rivers mentioned above, there is a decrease in water levels with an intensity of 1-12 cm per day.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport are observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev and Zhlobin, the Berezina near Bobruisk. 
Water levels exceed the water outlet marks on the floodplain on the tributary of the Neman river Ross at the village Studenets and a tributary of the Zapadny Bug to the Lesnaya river near the town of Kamenets. 
The water temperature has slightly increased and is 16-24°C in rivers, 19-22°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, fluctuations in water levels will be observed on the rivers, conditions for river transport will improve on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, and on the Sozh near Krichev, the water level will drop below a dangerously low level.
