Review of the agrometeorological situation of May 28, 2019
Sufficient water availability on most of the territory contributes to growth of vegetation mass and formation of cereal crops stem, to tillering and initiation of ear of spring cereal crops. However, because of insufficient water availability of sowings agrometeorological conditions for harvest formation worsened in certain areas of Gomel region and in the west of Vitebsk region where deficit of precipitations remains: leaf rolling and icterus of winter wheat were registered at the meteorological stations Gomel and Lyntupy. Due to expected in the coming days rain and moderate temperature, agrometeorological conditions will be favorable for formation of cereals harvest.
