Overview of agrometeorological situation of September 13, 2022
After the past rains, the agrometeorological situation on the territory of Belarus has improved. In a significant part of the country, the upper 10-centimeter layer of soil is well moistened. This promotes tillage, seed germination, emergence of seedlings and further development of winter crops. In some areas of the southern regions, as a result of intense rains, there is a strong moistening of the soil. At the same time, according to many weather conditions in the northern region of Belarus, where precipitation fell much less than in the predominant territory of the republic, at a depth of 10 centimeters, the soil remains slightly moist and dry. Difficult conditions for winter sowing remain here.
