Overview of agrometeorological situation of July 19, 2022
On the main massifs, winter grain crops and spring barley are maturing - wax ripeness is observed, in some areas of the Brest and in the south of the Gomel region, full ripeness of grain is noted. Grain filling continues mainly in spring wheat, while in other grain crops it is noted mainly in the northeastern half of the country. In the late sowings of spring barley in the northern and eastern regions, the grain is still being formed. Unstable weather with rains hinders the ripening and drying of the grain. This week, due to a decrease in rainfall and an increase in air temperature, agrometeorological conditions in most of the territory of Belarus will contribute to the ripening and drying of grain.
