Overview of agrometeorological situation of January 4, 2022
Agrometeorological conditions for winter crops are satisfactory. In recent days under the influence of thaw weather in most regions of Belarus, the snow cover on the fields has practically collapsed, in the southwestern part of the republic soil thawing has begun. According to the results of observations, the soil temperature at the depth of the tillering node of winter grain crops and the root collar of perennial grasses is higher than optimal values, the plants lose their hardening.
In the near future, the agrometeorological situation will not change significantly; dangerous for winter crops low temperatures are not expected.
