Overview of agrometeorological situation of August 29, 2025
Due to the increase in air temperature, the agrometeorological conditions for maize crop formation have improved. The development of crops has accelerated somewhat, but there is still a delay from last year’s deadlines. In the main areas of corn is poured grain, on later crops continues flowering seedling. In some southern areas, the maize has started to ripen, the farms have begun harvesting on silage and green fodder.
In the coming days, conditions for maize growth and development will be quite favorable. In the south-west of the country, the lack of moisture of this crop may persist.
