Overview of agrometeorological situation of April 6, 2021
Due to the cold snap, agrometeorological conditions for sowing, germination of grain and the emergence of seedlings of early spring crops, the development of winter crops have deteriorated. Under the influence of negative night temperatures, freezing of the upper soil layer is observed. The average soil temperature at a depth of 10 cm dropped to +4 +7°С. In the Northeastern part of the republic and in some central regions, strong moisture in the topsoil is still preserved. In such areas, field work is possible only selectively.
In the coming days, agrometeorological conditions for sowing early spring crops will not improve. Under the influence of a low temperature regime, night frosts, the vegetation of winter crops, the regrowth of perennial grasses will be inactive.
