Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 5 to 11 November 2020)
State institution «Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring» informs about exceeding of the quality standards of pollutants in the atmospheric air of cities of Belarus for the period from 5 to 11 November 2020.
In the air of Grodno near Gorodnichanskaya street on November 10 at 07:00, the concentration of solid particles (dust/aerosol undifferentiated by composition) exceeded the quality standard by 1.2 times (calm and fog were observed, the air temperature was -1.9°C, the relative humidity was 96%), in the area of Obukhov street during from 10:00 to 10:40, an increase in the content of nitrogen oxide was noted: the maximum one-time concentrations (averaging period of 20 minutes) were 1.1 MAC (calm and fog were observed, the air temperature was -2.6°C, relative humidity - 100%).
