Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (7 March 2019 - 13 March 2019)
State institution «Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring» informs about the excess of quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from 7 to 13 March 2019.
In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street), average daily concentration of PP-2,5 was 1,4 MPC on March, 7. The south wind and the south-east wind of 1-5 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from -4,5°С to +6,1°С, relative humidity – from 56% to 79%. There was an exceedance of quality standards on PP-2,5 by 1,3 on March, 8. The south wind and the south-west wind of 2-3 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +3,6°С to +14,3°С, relative humidity – from 51% to 75%.
In the air of Novopolotsk (49, Molodezhnaya street), there was a short-term (during 20 minutes) exceedance of quality standards on sulfur dioxide by 1,2 at 09:20 on March,11. The west wind of 1 m/s prevailed, air temperature was -0,2°С, relative humidity – 86%.
