Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (28 February 2019 - 6 March 2019)
State institution «Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring» informs about the excess of quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from 26 February to 6 March 2019.
In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street), average daily concentration of PP-2,5 was 1,4 MPC on February, 28. In the morning the south-west wind of 2-3 m/s prevailed, weft conditions, in the evening - the north-west wind of 2-4 m/s, torrential rain, drizzle, weft conditions, air temperature ranged from +0,6°С to +3,1°С, relative humidity – from 83% to 93%. Average concentration of PP-2,5 was 1,15 MPC on March, 3. The south-west wind of 2-4 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from -6,8°С to +2,3°С, relative humidity – from 48% to 74%. There was an exceedance of quality standards on PP-2,5 by 1,5 on March, 5. The south wind and the south-west wind of 1-5 m/s prevailed, weft conditions, torrential rain, air temperature ranged from +5,6°С to +7,7°С, relative humidity – from 59% to 93%.
In the air of Grodno (Obukhov street), there was an insignificant (by 1,04) exceedance of quality standards on PP-10 on February, 28. The west wind and the north-west wind of 5-13 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +2,4°С to +7,1°С, relative humidity – from 58% to 80%.
In the air of Mogilev (Cheluskintsev street) there were short-term exceedances of quality standards on ammonia by 1,2 and 2,0 respectively from at 07:00 and 19:00 during sampling on March, 1. The south-west wind of 5 m/s, air temperature ranged from -0,8°С to +0,7°С, relative humidity – from 83% to 93%.
In the air of Minsk (Radialnaya street), concentration of carbon monoxide (averaging time – 20 minutes) was 1,1 MPC at 17:00 on March, 4. The south-west wind of 3 m/s prevailed, drizzle, air temperature was +6,3°С, relative humidity – 96%. There was an increase of air contamination level with carbon monoxide from 16:00 to 19:00 on March, 5 – maximum one-time concentration was 1,2 MPC. The south-west wind of 5 m/s prevailed, air temperature was +5,6°С, relative humidity – 69%.
