Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (25 October - 31 October 2018)
The state institution "The Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring" informs about the excess of quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from 25 to 31 October 2018.
In the air of Brest (Severnaya street) according to continuous observation data there is a small exceedance of quality standards on particulate pollutants with fractions up to 10 micron (average daily concentration 1,08 MPC) on October, 27. The south wind and the south-west wind of 2-4 m/s had prevailed, relative humidity ranged from 61% to 81%, air temperature – from +6,8°С to +12,1°С. There was an increase of air pollution level with nitrogen oxide by 1,17 times on October, 31. The shifting wind had prevailed, weft and windless conditions, relative humidity was 92%, air temperature – +7°С.
In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street) there was an exceedance of quality standards on particulate pollutants with fractions up to 2,5 micron (average daily concentration 1,2 MPC) on October, 27. The south wind of 1-4 m/s had prevailed, relative humidity ranged from 73% to 94%, air temperature – from +1,3°С to +9,9°С.
