Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (21 February 2019 - 27 February 2019)
State institution «Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring» informs about the excess of quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from 21 to 27 February 2019.
In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street), average daily concentration of PP-2,5 was 1,3 MPC on February, 22. The north-west wind of 3-4 m/s prevailed, snow, air temperature ranged from -8,5°С to -4,8°С, relative humidity – from 47% to 65%.
In the air of Novopolotsk (49, Molodezhnaya street), there was a short-term exceedance of quality standards on sulfur dioxide by 1,1 at 23:40 on February, 24. The west wind of 3 m/s prevailed, air temperature was +1,8°С, relative humidity – 89%. Increase of air contamination level with sulfur dioxide was registered from 08:00 to 09:20 on February, 25 – maximum one-time concentrations were 1,15-1,75 MPC. The west wind of 3 m/s prevailed, air temperature was +0,6°С, relative humidity – 92%.
In the air of Mogilev (Cheluskintsev street), there was a short-term exceedance of quality standard on ammonia by 1,1 on February, 25 (during sampling time). The north-west wind of 5 m/s prevailed, air temperature was +6,7°С, relative humidity – 56%.
