Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (19 March - 25 March 2020)

In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street) average daily concentration of PP-2,5  exceeded air quality standards by 2,8 on March 19. The west wind of 2-4 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +5,7°С to +12,8°С, relative humidity ranged from 60% to 80%. Average daily concentration of PP-2,5 was 3,2 MPC on March 20. The west, north-west wind of 1-3 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +0,3°С to +10,1°С, relative humidity ranged from 36% to 86%. Average daily concentration of PP-2,5  exceeded air quality standards by 2,9 on March 21. The north-west wind of 1-2 m/s prevailed in the first half of the day. The north wind of 1-3 m/s prevailed in the second half of the day. Air temperature ranged from +0,3°С to +7,1°С, relative humidity ranged from 61% to 77%. Average daily concentration of PP-2,5 was 2,8 MPC on March 22. The north-east wind of 1-4 m/s prevailed in the first half of the day. The north wind of 1-3 m/s prevailed in the second half of the day. Air temperature ranged from  -1,8°С to +2,6°С, relative humidity ranged 37% from 91%.  Average daily concentration of PP-2,5  exceeded air quality standards by 2,2 on March 22.  The north-east wind of 1-3 m/s prevailed, calm, air temperature ranged from -4,5°С to +2,3°С. Relative humidity ranged from 40% to 63%. Average daily concentration of PP-2,5  exceeded air quality standards by 2,7 on March 24. Wind of various directions prevailed, calm, air temperature ranged from -6,2°С to +3,6°С, relative humidity ranged from 28% to 71%.  

In the air of Gomel (Barykin street) average daily concentration of solid particles up to 10 microns (PP-10) was 1,5 MPC on March 19.The south-west wind of 2-3 m/s prevailed in the first half the day. The west wind of 2-4 m/s prevailed in the second half of the day. Air temperature ranged from +5,3°С to +14,4°С. Relative humidity ranged from 53% to 78%. Average daily concentration of solid particles up to 10 microns (PP-10) exceeded air quality standards on March 20 and 24.  The north-west wind of 1-4 m/s prevailed on March 20. Air temperature ranged from  +2,2°С to +10,4°С, relative humidity ranged from 30% to 77%.  The north wind of 2-4 m/s prevailed on March 24. Air temperature ranged from -4,6°С to +3,5°С? Relative humidity ranged from 27% to  59%. Average daily concentration of solid particles up to 10 microns (PP-10) exceeded air quality standards by 1,3 on March 25. Wind of various directions prevailed. Air temperature ranged from -5,2°С to +7,2°С. Relative humidity ranged from 24% to 74%.  

In the air of Mozyr industrial hub (Penki village) concentration of PP-10 exceeded air quality standards by 1,1 on March 21. The north, north-west wind of 1-4 m/s prevailed, calm, air temperature ranged from -0,3°С to +8,3°С, relative humidity ranged from 55% to 86%. Concentration of PP-10 exceeded air quality standards by 1,3 in the detached area on March 22. The north, the north-east wind of 1-4 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from -2,6°С to +0,9°С, relative humidity ranged from 41% to 92%.  

In the air of Minsk (Timiryazeva street) daily carbon monoxide concentration exceeded air quality standards by 1,5 on March 24.  The north-east wind of 1-3 m/s prevailed, calm, air temperature ranged from -9,4°С to +4,6°С, relative humidity ranged from 25% to 86%. There was an increase of air contamination level with nitrogen oxide (1,1-2,2 MPC) from 08:00 to 09:20 in the air of Minsk (Heroes of 120th Division street) on March 25. The maximum single concentration of nitrogen oxide in this period was 1,2 MPC. Wind of various directions prevailed, calm, air temperature was -0,4°С, relative humidity was 66%. In the air of Minsk (Heroes of 120th Division street) average daily concentration of nitrogen oxide exceeded air quality standards by 1,2 on March 25. Wind of various directions prevailed, calm, air temperature ranged from-7,7°С to +8,7°С, relative humidity ranged from 24% to 87%.

In the air of Mogilev (Krupskaya street) average daily concentration of PP-10  was 1,2 MPC on March 24. Wind of various directions prevailed, calm, the north-east wind, air temperature ranged from -7,4°С to +4,1°С , relative humidity ranged from 30% to 82%. Average daily concentration of PP-10  was 1,3 MPC on March 25. Wind of various directions prevailed, calm air temperature ranged  from -5,6°С to +9,4°С , relative humidity ranged from 22% to 77%.  

In the air of Novopolotsk (Molodezhnaya 135) concentration of particulate pollutants (non-determined in composition silt/aerosol) was 1,3 MPC at 7:00 on March 24. Wind of various directions prevailed, calm, air temperature was -7,8°С, relative humidity was 87%.
