Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (12 - 19 July 2018)
The state institution "The Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring" informs about the excess of quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from 12 to 19 July 2018.In the air of Brest (street areas Sept. 17, Kupala and Pushkinskaya) the maximum of one-time concentrations of formaldehyde ranged from 1.1-1.6 MAC. July 18, the nitrogen dioxide concentration exceeded the quality standard by 1.3 times. In the area of North street12, 16 and 18 July, ozone concentrations were increased to 1.3 MAC.
In the air of Pinsk (Zavalnaya and Tsentralnaya streets), maximum of one-time concentrations of formaldehyde did not exceed 1.6 MAC.
In the air of Gomel (district Kurchatov and Pionerskaya) on July 12 the concentration of formaldehyde varied in the range of 1.3-1.5 MAC.
In the air of Svetlogorsk, the maximum of one-time concentrations of formaldehyde (areas of the Pervomaisky and Molodezhny microdistricts) varied in the range of 1.1-1.6 times the maximum permissible concentration, and on July 12 and 13 in the Pervomaysky microdistrict - it was fixed to 1.8 MAC.
In the air of Vitebsk (the area of Kosmonavtov Street and Lyudnikov Ave.) the concentration of formaldehyde varied in the range of 1.1-1.3 MAC.
In the air of Novopolotsk (district Molodezhnaya) on July 16 and 17, a short-term increase (to 1.4 MAC) of the formaldehyde content was noted.
In the air of the city of Orsha (areas of Pakgauznaya and Lenin streets), maximum of one-time concentrations of formaldehyde were 2-2.9 MAC. In the area of Molodezhnaya street - did not exceed 1.1 MAC.
