Overview of the hydrological situation of September 28, 2018
As at September 28, there is a decrease of water levels with the intensity 1-5 cm per day on the Viliya, on the Zapadnyi Bug, on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Polotsk, on the Dnieper near site Zhlobin-Rechitsa and on the Pripyat neat Pinsk, on the remain areas of rivers mentioned above as well as on the Nema, on the Sozh and on the Berezina – increase of water levels with the intensity 1-11 cm per day.
Unfavourable conditions for river transport remain on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, on the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Krichev, Gomel and Slavgorod.
Water temperature in the rivers and water bodies decreased and is about 5,6-16°С.
In the coming days, water temperature will gradually decrease on certain areas of rivers.
