Overview of the hydrological situation of October 19, 2018
As at October 19, there is a small increase (1-5 cm per day) of water levels is observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Polotsk and on its affluent Disna near Sharkovshchina, on the Neman near Grodno and on its affluent Shchara near Slonim, on the Mukhavets, affluent of the Zapadnyi Bug, near Brest, on the Dnieper near Zhlobin, on the Svisloch, affluent of the Berezina, near Terebuty, on the Besed, affluent of the Sozh, near Svetilovichi and on the Sluch, affluent of the Pripyat, near Lenin. Decrease of water levels and its even running are observed along remain areas of the rivers mentioned above.
Unfavourable conditions for river transport remain on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, on the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Krichev, Gomel and Slavgorod.
Water temperature in the rivers and water bodies is about 4,0-12°С.
In the coming days, decrease of water levels will prevail on the rivers of Belarus, water temperature will be decreasing gradually.
