Overview of the hydrological situation of July 5, 2018
Recent rains in the period under review (29 June – 4 July) increased water level, as at 5 July intensity of rising waters is 1-20 cm per day.
There is amelioration of conditions for river transport on Berezina near Svetlogorsk and on Sozh near Krichev, water levels are higher than marks limiting shipping.
Water levels are below the marks that limit shipping on Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, on Neman near Grodno, on Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, on Berezina near Bobruysk, on Sozh near Slavgorod and Gomel.
Water temperature in rivers and reservoirs fell and is about 13-19°С.
Rise of water level in most of the rivers will continue in the near 5 days. There will be amelioration of conditions for river transport on Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin and Rechitsa.
