Overview of hydrological situation of September 30, 2020

As of September 30, there is a decrease in water levels on the rivers of Belarus with a daily intensity of 1-14 cm.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport persist on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, on the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, on the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature in reservoirs is 13-16°C, in the rivers of Sozh basins – 7.6-15°C, in the Neman, the Viliya and the Berezina – 10-14°C, in the Western Dvina and the Dnieper – 12-15°C, the Western Bug and the Pripyat – 12-17°C.
In the coming days, on most rivers, the decline in water levels will persist, the water temperature in rivers and reservoirs will not change significantly.
