Overview of hydrological situation of May 29, 2020
Over the pat period (May 26-28) decrease of water levels prevailed on rivers, that resulted rivers transport work worsening on the Dnieper near Mogilev, on the Sozh near Krichev.
As at May 29 decrease of water levels with daily intensity of 1-12 cm per day was observed on most rivers. Insignificant increase of water levels (1-5 cm) is observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Verchnedvinsk, on the Neman near Grodno, on the Pripyat near Petricov and also on some others small rivers.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper near Mogilev, on the Berezina near Bobruisk, on the Sozh near Krichev and Slavgorod.
Water temperatures in rivers and reservoirs increased and ranges from 10°С to 18°С.
In the coming days fluctuations of water levels with a tendency towards decreasing will be observed. water level will reach a mark at which arise difficulties for work of river transport on the Berezina near Svetlogorsk.
